AmCham Slovenia awarded the title of Business Leader to Ivo Boscarol

For several years, young businesspeople at AmCham Slovenia have been choosing a Business Leader for the coming year.

The award is dedicated to exceptional leaders in the Slovenian business environment who inspire others with their business practices. It was created by the AmCham Business Leaders Club at the initiative of young people from the AmCham Young platform. It is a recognition and answer to questions about the importance of role models, necessary changes in business leadership, and promoting a culture of dialogue.

Last year, the award was presented to Ms. Anita Ogulin and Prof. Dr. Jure Leskovec, an excellent entrepreneur and professor at the prestigious Stanford University.

AmCham Slovenia is one of the largest and most active international business communities in Slovenia, bringing together more than 400 Slovenian and international companies. The organization’s activities include organizing various events for the purpose of networking, informing about current events, and exchanging good business practices. More than 320 people work in eight committees. The organization also includes the AmCham Young platform, which helps young active individuals with personal and career development, from student internships to professional business communities. It also represents an entry point for Slovenian companies that want to penetrate the American market and open the door to investors in Slovenia.

At an event on December 3 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Ljubljana, the superfinalists of the Best of the Best 2024 program were presented, whose achievements represent exceptional innovation, motivation, and collaboration. At the event, they jointly selected the recipient of the Business Leader of the Year award, which at the suggestion of young people from the YOUng platform, celebrates exceptional leadership, role modeling, and a culture of dialogue.

This year’s recipients of the awards were Vita Godec in Ivo Boscarol, who, with their groundbreaking vision and dedication, inspire both current and future generations and represent a driving force for positive change.
