Increase of stake in Sipaboards

Sipaboards is entering a period of rapid growth, so fresh capital was needed in the form of a capital injection. Therefore, on April 9, 2025, Anastasia Taja and Ivo Boscarol met with the co-owners of Sipaboards, Sebastjan Sitar and Žiga Božič, at the notary office of Danijela Cvijanovič in Nova Gorica and signed a contract with them, according to which they increased their share by 5% with an additional capital contribution and are now 45% co-owners of the company.

At the occasion, Ivo said:

The safety and comfort offered by the innovative electric-powered SUP is becoming a standard not only among fans of this popular water sport, but also in professional use, schools and SUP rental shops.”

The market has finally understood the advantage of an electric drive built into a SUP, which allows for easy inflation of the board and safe use in wind and higher waves with a built-in compressor. Therefore, demand is increasing in all major markets, from retail chains to organizations that rent SUPs. The fresh capital will enable the company to increase production, move to new production and administrative facilities, and supplement its after-sales network around the world.
