Ivo Boscarol received the Living Legend of Aviation award

Ivo Boscarol was accepted by the unanimous committee vote into the selected group of recipients of the “Living Legends of Aviation” award ( https://www.legendseu.com/ ). He received the award on 31 August 2024 at an event in the Scalaria center in Austria.
The Living Legends Award is presented by the US Air Force Kiddie Hawk Air Academy to people with outstanding achievements in aviation and space technology. It has been awarded since 2003, and the recipients include various entrepreneurs, astronauts, innovators and star pilots, such as Buzz Aldrin (the second man to walk on the Moon), Tom Cruise, Jeff Bezos, (he founded several companies, including Amazon and he flew into space himself), Harrison Ford (he has been a pilot for more than 50 years), Prince Harry (he is also a military helicopter pilot), Elon Musk, Morgan Freeman and others (LivingLegendsofAviation_recipients). The award is given for various achievements, and Ivo Boscarol already received it in 2018 as the best entrepreneur in the field of aviation (Eren Ozmen Entrepreneur of the Year Award).
After the award ceremony, Ivo Boscarol said: “The organizer prepared a truly spectacular two-day event, which did not lack aviation spectacles and displays of achievements in aviation, round tables and social gatherings with top culinary experiences. I thank the Academy for recognizing my achievements and contribution to the development of aviation. To me personally, the award, the title and being placed alongside other legends of aviation means recognition and proof that the aviation world appreciates my contribution and believes that my certification of an electric aircraft for safe commercial use laid the foundation for emission-free, clean and silent aviation.”
