Mare Santo with a new impetus
13. 06. 2025
The company Mare Santo Wines (https://maresanto.com) has entered a new development phase, marked by expansion into international markets and more intensive business growth. Such dynamics require additional financial stability, which is why it was decided to introduce fresh capital into the company in the form of a capital injection.
To this end, the owners of Boscarol d.o.o. attended a meeting with Igor Tomažič, co-owner of Mare Santo Wines, on April 21, 2025. The meeting took place in the notary office of Danijela Cvijanovič in Nova Gorica, where they jointly signed an agreement on the additional capital injection. With the agreement, Anastasia Taja and Ivo Boscarol increased their stake in the company from the previous 49% to 75%, which means consolidating their ownership role and strengthening their commitment to the further development of the company both at home and abroad.

At the occasion, Ivo said:
“The Mare Santo Wines company has developed and patented a unique process of aging sparkling wine in the sea. The process gives the sparkling wine a special marine flavor. The bottle, overgrown with natural shells and corals, completes the story with a unique look, incorporating marine life. The sparkling wine is available in different versions depending on the quality and variety of the wine, the size of the bottles and the ageing time in the sea.
Such a bottle can be used as a flower vase or a decorative object in an apartment to preserve the memory of the solemn event at which the bottle was opened, for many years. The product is more than just wine, it is a story in itself and as a unique luxury gift it represents exceptional market potential. That is why we decided to become the majority owner through the necessary capital increase, thus ensuring growth for the company, the necessary market position for the product, and investing in the development of complementary products.”«
