The Board of Directors of the University of Nova Gorica has decided to award the Golden Plaque of the University of Nova Gorica to Ivo Boscarol for fruitful cooperation in the field of research and for promoting the construction of the infrastructure of the University of Nova Gorica.

Ivo Boscarol is one of the 6 Slovenians to be included in the "New Europe 100" list of the most innovative and successful people in Central and Eastern Europe.
